Ajai Srivastava - Founder and Managing Director
As Managing Director and founder of Seven Step Consulting , he is responsible for developing the vision of building a company that has a sustainable business model, providing great leadership, implementing the company's business strategy and ensuring best corporate governance.
Ajai is a business strategist with a career spanning over 26 years. Prior to setting up Seven Step Consulting Ajai founded, 7S Consulting International, a privately held organization which has merged into Seven Step Consulting. Before this, during a career spanning over two decades in the industry he has worked for major national and international companies like Philips , General Electric ( GE) ,BPL Sanyo ,and British Standards Institution(BSI). As General Manager - BSI he pioneered the ISMS business for British Standards Institution in India and was responsible for initiating BS 7799 /ISO 27001 in India.
Ajai is an entrepreneur with extensive work experience in the area of Marketing & Sales, Channel Management customer service delivery, making technology work for customers and Information technology management. His passion for the Management Systems Business has provided him the acumen and expertise with which he drives his team to deliver consistently beyond customer expectations.
Ajai has dedicated his career to maintaining a highly focused emphasis on quality ,risk, governance, compliance, information security and information assurance .Ajai has been part of various quality ,information security ,IT Service Management ,risk assessment and compliance projects at Seven Step Consulting. He specializes in ISO 27001, and Integrated Management Systems (based on PAS 99).
His skills and know-how encompass IT assurance, IT Service management ,Risk Management, Compliance, Business Continuity, and Cybercrime .He is well-versed with international standards such as ISO 27001, BS 25999, and ISO 20000.
He holds a Masters degree in History from St.Stephens College, Delhi , India. He Is Certified ISMS Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer, IT Service & Business Continuity Implementer as well as a Certified Vulnerability Assessor.
Sanjiv Arora- Director, Information Security and IT Governance Practice
Sanjiv drives the Information Security and IT practice for Seven Step Consulting .He was President, ISACA, New Delhi Chapter (2002-2003). He is a CISA, CISM CGEIT. He specialises in IT Audits, IT Governance consulting, Information Security, Risk Management and IT strategic consulting. His 29+ years experience includes 8 years into IS Audit, Governance, Risk, management and Security consulting. Balance in IT Management, operations, software development and implementation.
His technical expertise encompasses areas such as IS Audit, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), ERP, IT Governance, Networking and Security, SDLC, ISO27001, COBIT, COSO, BCP & DRP, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing (VA&PT), Design and Application controls review. His ERP domain expertise includes SAP, MFG Pro, has developed and implemented ERP for large public limited company, CBS (Core Banking) solutions.
He has serviced clients in Information Technology, Banking, Retail, Infrastructure, Software, Manufacturing, Insurance, Media, Services, NGO and the Government sectors.

- Was Instrumental to successfully implement CBS solution at two cooperative banks
- Was Instrumental in developing, implementing in house ERP at large public ltd company, which is in use till date
- Was workshop Leader on “Bridging the Gap Between IT Governance and Enterprise Goals” at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- Was workshop Leader on “IT Shared Services for Business Excellence” at Singapore, Malaysia
- Provide training to corporate on CISM, CGEIT and related security aspects
- Was speaker and Panelist – ERP Symposiums by Tally and Microsoft, India
- As Faculty – ISACA Chapters in India and Institute of Chartered Accountant of India for their DISA qualification

Ms. Sambhavna - Director Operations and Business Development
- Ms. Sambhavna is a founding member of Seven Step Consulting .A results-oriented Marketing and business development professional, she boasts an impressive track record and brings her account management and business development experience to Seven Step Consulting.
- Her unique combination of both start-up and large enterprise operational experience provides a thorough understanding of the sales process from the customer's perspective. She manages a team of professionals providing management systems consulting, training, implementation, audit and management review services focusing on key sectors of manufacturing , software, IT and service industries.
- It's principals come with extensive knowledge & experience of building & nurturing a start up business operation gathered across industries
- Sambhavna studied Business Administration at Amity University.
